Michigan taxpayers like you benefit from credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and Home Heating Credit and free tax-filing services like those offered by MEIC members
We need your help in spreading the word about these benefits. If you are willing to share your story with us, please fill out the form below. Whether or not we use your story, you may be selected received one of fifteen $50 Meijer gift cards.
To be considered, you must complete the MEIC Story Collection Application between February 1, 2020 and April 30, 2020.
While we do ask for your personal contact information, only the answers you provide to the questions on the form, your first name and first initial of your last name, city or location of free tax services will be used should we choose to publish your story. The use of other identifiable information will not be used unless you agree to allow us to do so in any follow-up communication.
Only respond to the questions with information you feel comfortable sharing with others about any refund or tax service you received.
Please be aware that while we will not share your personal contact information with others outside of the MEIC and CEDAM, it is necessary to correctly provide us accurate contact information so that we may contact you with any follow-up questions regarding your story, or if you are selected to receive one of the gift cards.
